On Thursday, June 4th, at Mansfield, Ohio, Mary E. Chapin, aged
22 years, wife of Wm. Chapin, formerly of Chapinville in this county;
and also on Sunday, the 13th June, at the same place, Mr. William
Chapin, husband of the above deceased, aged 32. They have left a
family of two small children and a large circle of friends and
relatives both here and in Ohio to lament their loss.

he bore with christian fortitude, Mr. John Cole, in the 85th
year of his age. Mr. Cole was a soldier of the Revolution, and one who
was at the defence of Esopus at the time that village was burned by the
British in 1777. Mr. Cole was a kind father, a worthy citizen and a
devoted christian.

DIED - At Manchester, on the 26th ult., of scarlet fever, Edwin,
son of Cornelius and Deborah Rodney, aged 5 years, 1 month
and 17 days.

in the 44th year of her age.

DIED - In this village, on the evening of the 19th inst., very
suddenly, Miss Mary A. Brower, daughter of the late Rev. Dr.
Brower.
In Seneca, on the morning of the 17th inst., Willard, only
child of Alfred and Rosanna Onderdonk, aged 1 year, 11 months
and 21 days.

in the twentieth year of his age, Peter Munro De Lancey, son
of Bishop De Lancey of Western New York.
