to Nehemiah Lamb
22 January 1813

This Indenture made the twenty second day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirteen, between Jonas Whitney and Catherine his wife of the Town of Gorham in the County of Ontario  & State of New York of the first part, and Nehemiah Lamb of the town of Gorham County of Ontario and State of New York of the second part.  Witnesseth that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and twenty five dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part <the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged have granted bargained sold remised released alienated & confirmed, and by these presents do grant bargain sell remise release alike and confirm unto this said party of the second part> and to his heirs and assigns forever all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the Town County and State aforesaid it being part of lot number thirty in township number ten in the second range of townships in Phelps & Gorhams purchase, beginning at a  stake on the East North line of said lot and at the northeast corner of a piece of land now owned and possessed by Joseph Lee thence Eastwardly to the Northeast Corner of said lot thence Southerly along the East side of said lot sixty rods thence Westwardly with a line parallel with the North line across to the East line of Joseph Lees land thence Northward sixty rods on said line to the place of beginning to contain twenty two and half acres of land be their more or less; together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining; and the  reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues  and profits thereof; and all the estate right title interest claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part, either in law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises, with the  <said hereditaments and> appurtenances.  To have and to hold the said premises above described, to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to the sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever.  And the said party of the first part, for themselves, their heirs executors and administrators do covenant, grant bargain and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that at the time of the ensealing and delivery of these presents they were well seized of the premises above conveyed as of a good sure perfect absolute and indefeasible estate of inheritance in the law in fee simple.  And that the above bargained premises, in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against all and every person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part thereof we will forever warrant and defend.  In witness whereof the party of the first part have hereunto set their hands & seals the day and year first above written.

This Indenture made the thirty first day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen between Joseph Lee and Patty his wife of the town of Gorham in the County of Ontario and State of New York of the first part and Nehemiah Lamb of the town County and State aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Eighty five Dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold remised aliened and confirmed; and by these presents do grant bargain sell remise release alien and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever, All that certain tract or parcel of land situate in township number ten in the second range of towns in the said County of Ontario it being part of lot number thirty in said township; beginning at a stake on the east line of  of a piece of land now owned by Joseph Lee and eighteen rods from the north line of said lot, thence South with the said line, forty five perches, thence westward Sixteen perches, thence northward forty five perches thence eastward Sixteen perches to the place of beginning containing four acres and one half an acre of land; together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining.  And the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders and issues and profits thereof; and all the estate right title interest claim or demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part, either in Law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the said hereditaments and appurtenances; To have and to hold the said premises as above described with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever.  And the said party of the first part for themselves and their heirs executors and administrators do grant bargain and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that at the time of the ensealing and delivery of these presents they were well seized of the premises above conveyed as of a good sure perfect absolute and indefeasible estate of inheritance in fee simple.  And that the above bargained premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against all and every person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the whole of any part thereof, they will forever Warrant and defend.  In Witness whereof the party of the first part have hereunto set their hands and Seals the day and year first above written.

Ontario County ss:  On the fifteenth day of June in the year eighteen hundred and fourteen before me Moses Atwater a Judge of the Court of Common please in said county came Joseph Lee and Patty his wife who are personally known to me to be the persons described in this Indenture, and severally acknowledged they executed the same as their free act and Deed, the said Patty being by me examined privately and apart from her said husband did acknowledge that she did execute the same truly as her act and Deed, without fear or compulsion from her said husband.  Let the same be recorded.

This Indenture made this eight day of April in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen between Joseph Lee and Patty his wife of the town of Gorham in the County of Ontario and State of New York of the first part and Nehemiah Lamb of the town County and State aforesaid of the second part witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of thirty dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold remised aliened and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell remise release alien and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever all that certain piece or parcel of land situate in township number ten in the second range of towns in the said County of Ontario it being part of lot number thirty in said township begining at a stake on the North line of  said lot sixteen chains from the North east corner of said lot thence South on the division line eighteen rods to a Stake thence west with a line parallel with the north line sixteen rods thence with a line parallel with the division line North eighteen rods thence east on the north line sixteen rods to the place of beginning containing one acres and three quarters and eight rods of land together with all and singular the appurtenances and hereditaments  thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof; and all the estate right title interest claim or demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part either in law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the said hereditaments and appurtenances To have and to hold the said premises as above described with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the sole and only proper use benefit benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever and the said party of the first part for themselves and their heirs executors and administrators do grant bargain and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that at the time of the ensealing & delivery of these presents they were well seized of the premises above conveyed as of a good sure perfect absolute and indefeasible estate of inheritance in fee simple and that the above bargained premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against all and every person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part thereof the will forever warrant and defend  in witness whereof the party of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.

This Indenture made the twelfth day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty four between Nehemiah Lamb and Hannah his wife of Prattsburg in the County of Steuben and State of New York of the first part and Silas Anson of Hopewell in the county of Ontario and State aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged have granted bargained sold remised released aliened and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell remise release alien and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever.  All that certain tract or parcel of land situate in the county of Ontario and state aforesaid being part of lot number thirty in township number ten in the second range of townships in the county of Ontario beginning at a stake on the northeast corner of said lot thence South on the east line of said lot sixty rods thence west sixty four rods thence South three rods thence west sixteen rods thence north sixty three rods thence east of eighty rods to the place of beginning containing thirty acres and one quarter and eight rods of land  including highways, reserving nevertheless the use and occupation of said premises until the first day of April next with the privilege of sowing a small piece of ground east of the house which was planted last year with corn; reserving also the nursery and all the small fruit trees, which have not been set out and  now on said premises.  Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title interest claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part either in law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the said hereditaments and appurtenances To have and to hold the said premises above described to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever.  And the said party of the first part for themselves and their heirs executors and administrators do covenant grant bargain and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that at the time of the ensealing and delivery of these presents they were well seized of the premises above conveyed as of a good sure perfect absolute and indefeasible estate of inheritance in fee simple and that the above bargained premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against all and every person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part thereof they will forever warrant and defend.  In witness whereof the parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.
