Frost Town Cemetery

a/k/a Gulick Gorge Cemetery and McGreavy Cemetery
At the southeast end of Honeoye Lake is Briggs Gully. Several miles up
this gully is a long valley. At the south end of the valley is Gulick
Swamp. The stream soon plunges over a waterfall. Here a deep gorge
begins. On the west side, overlooking this gorge, in a deep forest, is
a cemetery of about 45 graves, clearly marked by depressions, rock
slabs and five cut tombstones. This cemetery is
locally known as McGreavey Cemetery. Nearby in the Cummings
Nature Center is a stone for Rebecca MacCumber,
recently
discovered.
