DIED - In this town on the 23d inst., after a protracted
illness, Mr. John Howry, in his 68th year.
In West Bloomfield, August 6th, of diphtheria, Josephine M., youngest
daughter of Carlton Wood, Esq., aged 17 years.

DIED - Suddenly in this village, Aug. 31st, of disease of the
heart, Emily G. Dixson, wife of Cyrus W. Dixson, aged 38 years.
In the U. S. General Hospital at Annapolis Junction, July 12, of
diphtheria, A. Wilson Royal, of Co. E, 44th N. Y. V., in the
20th year of his age.

DIED - In this village, on the 16th instant, of diphtheria, Willie
A., only son of Alvah W. and Mary E.
Shattuck, aged 13 months and 3 days. Funeral at the residence
of John Reeves, Center street, on Thursday morning.
In this village, on the 8th instant, Silas Sage, aged 40 years
and 3 months, after an illness of five weeks of great suffering, which
he endured with much patience, supported by a christian faith and the
gospel hope.
In this village, on the 15th instant, of diphtheria, Abner
Supplee, son of Deacon Hugh Supplee.

DIED - In Farmington, on the 27th inst., of diphtheria, William,
son of Thomas and Mary Walker, aged 13 years. Also on the
20th inst., of the same, Mary, eldest daughter of Thomas and
Mary Walker, aged 15 years.
At the residence of G. L. Uttley, in South Bristol, on the 15th ult., John
Fraser, in his 57th year. The deceased was a native of Scotland,
and for several years was in the service
of the late John Greig of Canandaigua.
Also at the same place, on the 2d ult., of diphtheria, Sarah
Elizabeth, daughter of the late John Fraser, in her fifth
year.
In Naples, on the 4th ult., of diphtheria, Elsie Jane, aged 5
years and 5 months. And on the 2d ult., Andrew J., aged 10
years, 3 months and 12 days, children of Samuel and Salama Cornish.
Jan. 23d, of diphtheria, Hannah, only daughter of Mary and
Hugh Supplee, aged 10 years, 5 months and 18 days.
Feb. 15th, of diphtheria, Abner, son of Mary and Hugh Supplee,
aged 20 years, 1 month, 17 days.
March 1st, of diphtheria, George M., son of Mary and Hugh Supplee,
aged 18 years and 1 month.

DIED - In Farmington, Feb. 25th, of diphtheria, William, son
of Thomas and Mary Walker, aged 13 years.
And on the 26th of the same, Mary, eldest daughter of Thomas
and Mary Walker, aged 15 years.
Also, on March 3d, of the same, Thomas, youngest son of Thomas
and Mary Walker, aged 5 years.
Also, on March 6th, of the same, Annie, youngest daughter of
Thomas and Mary Walker, aged 9 years.
On the 24th ult., in the town of Richmond, Ontario Co., N. Y., Francis
G. Gravell, in his seventy-sixth year.

illness, Gould, son of Leonard and Betsey Gates, aged
1 year, 3 months and 26 days.

B., son of William and Jane E. Freer, aged 2 years and 4
months.

night of the 16th inst., E. S. Gregory, aged 66 years.
In this town on the 4th inst., Russell B. Johnson, in the 70th
year of his age.
In the town of Harmony, Wisconsin, on the 9th of April, Rachal L.
Green, wife of Erastus Green, of Richland Center, Richland Co.,
Wis., and daughter of William and Martha Martin of this town, in the
39th year of her age. She has left a loving husband and a large family
of children, relatives and friends in her own vicinity; and also aged
parents, brother and sister, and numerous relatives, youthful
associates and friends
in this and adjoining towns to mourn her loss. She was dearly beloved
by all.
In this village, on Saturday, April 30th, Thomas Beals, in the
81st year of his age. Mr. Beals was born Nov. 13th, 1783, in Boston,
Mass.
