Killed, in the town of Seneca, on the 12th, by falling thro' the Railroad Bridge, about 20 feet high, while attempting to walk over said bridge on a plank of timber, Thomas Fitzgerald, a sober and industrious man, aged about 50.

After an illness of two days, at the residence of his grandfather at Geneva, on the morning of the 26th instant, Harry Harrison, only son of Isaac M. and Maria Schermerhorn, aged 8 years, 1 month.

In Gorham, on the 20th inst., after an illness of 34 hours, with numb palsy, widow Abagail Newland, (formerly Sands). Her native place was Cornwall, Litchfield co., Conn., which place she left in 1786.

In Vienna, on the 15th inst., an infant son, and on the 20th of puerperal fever, Cornelia S., wife of Wm. Dillon, Esq., editor of the Western Atlas, aged 27 years.

DIED - At Middlebury, Indiana, on the 5th May inst., of disease of the lungs, Mr. Isaac Case, aged 74 years and 7 mos. Mr. C. was for many years a highly respected citizen of Hopewell in this county. He removed to Indiana about 3 years since.

In Manchester, on the 30th ult., of consumption, Lucretia E., wife of W. I. Hough, in her 21st year.

In this village, on the 8th inst., Jeanette Ellena, aged 38 days, infant daughter of the publisher of this paper.

Stuart Menteath, late Captain in her Majesty's 17th Lancers, second son of the late Sir Charles Menteath of Closeburn, Dumfrieshire, Scotland, and next brother of the present Sir James Menteath.

MARRIED - On the 24th of May, William Ruppert of Seneca to Catherine Bell of Gorham.

DIED - In Hopewell on the 16th inst., Mrs. Abagail Gooding, aged 81 years, mother of the late J. I. Gooding of this village. Mrs. Gooding was one of the early settlers of that part of the county, and had been a respected member in regular standing of the Presbyterian church for many years prior to her decease. The immediate cause of her death was from injuries resulting from a fall, while engaged in her domestic duties.

In this village, on the 26th inst., of pulmonary consumption, after a brief illness, Samantha Williams, daughter of Theodore E. and Eliza Hart, in the 19th year of her age.
