DIED - In Naples on the 6th instant, Benjamin Garlinghouse, aged 88 years, a Revolutionary soldier. He came into this section of the country with Sullivan's army.

In Vienna on Sunday, 10th instant, Mary Jane, wife of Cady E. Howe, aged 30 years.

In Vienna on the 27th January, Byron Lane, aged 11 years, 7 months and 17 days.

MARRIED - In this village, on the 26th inst., by Rev. J. T. Arnold, Mr. Edward Vincent of Manchester to Miss Amanda McCain, of this village.

In Naples, on the 13th inst., by the Rev. R. Parker, Mr. A. T. Seacord, merchant, to Miss Hannah J. Gordon, both of Naples.

DIED - In Hopewell on the 23d inst., Mr. George Brundage, aged 81 years. He moved into that town in 1792 and had continued to reside there to the time of his decease.

In Farmington, Feb. 15, from the effects of arsenic, accidentally taken, Charles Elliot, son of J. E. and Deborah North, aged 3 years.

In Victor, on the 19th inst., James Upton, aged 71 years. He was one of the first settlers of that town.

In Newark, Wayne co., on the 14th inst., Mr. Thomas Barney, formerly of this town, in the 85th year of his age.

In Phelps, on the 12th, John H. Swift, aged 79 years.

In Chapinville, on Friday the 5th inst., after a severe illness of three weeks of inflammation on the brain, W. Byron, eldest son of W. H. H. and Mary P. Herrin, aged six years, eight months and fourteen days.

In Phelps, on Thursday last, of consumption, Miss Anna Gray, aged 29 years.

At the Stockton Mines, (Cal.) on the morning of January 28th, of inflammation of the bowels, William L. Kemp, formerly member of the Ontario Trojan Band.

In Farmington, on the 15th inst., Isaac Lapham, in the 74th year of his age. He was one of the early settlers of Western New York.

DIED - In Manchester, August 26th, at the residence of his son, Stephen Brewster, Esq., Joseph Brewster, aged 91 years. Mr. B. was a resident of Saratoga County, N. Y., where he lived for many years. Another Revolutionary soldier gone.

MARRIED - In this village, August 29th, by Rev. W. H. Douglass, Mr. L. D. Wood of West Bloomfield, and Miss Mary A. Lyon of this village.

DIED - At Gorham, on the 30th of August last, Elijah Newman, Esq., aged 78. Mr. Newman was a native of Westchester County, from which he removed to Gorham when there were only four dwelling houses in that town. He was a gentleman of integrity and intelligence, and was frequently honored by the people of the town, with public trusts which he always discharged with perfect fidelity.

In this village on the morning of the 24th ult., of Chronic Diarrhea, Mary, wife of W. Francis Melony, and youngest daughter of L. J. Woodruff, M. D., aged 20 years and 6 months.

At Canandaigua on the 24th ult., of dysentery, Emma, daughter of Alonzo Beebe, Esq., aged 19 years.

In Seneca on the 19th ult., of consumption, John Black, son of Hugh Black, in the 21st year of his age.

In Phelps, on the 29th ult., of Dysentery, Emma Windsor, daughter of Sylvanus and Elizabeth Burtis, aged 3 years, 8 months and 11 days.

DIED - In this town on the 6th inst., Eliza, wife of Jeseph Hayton, aged 38 years.

In Canandaigua on the 22d inst., Ida M., only child of Thomas and Mary Brockway, aged 4 months and 16 days.

At Allens Hill on the 20th inst., Mary Emily, infant daughter of P. M. and Mary Bentley, aged six weeks.

On the 11th inst., at Oaks' Corners, Mrs. Fanny Cost, wife of Col. E. Cost, after an illness of three weeks. Her disease was typhus fever. She had lived over 63 years.

Nov. 27th, by Rev. C. S. Coats of Manchester, Mr. Franklin Knapp of Hopewell to Miss Harriet Warner of Canandaigua.

In Manchester, Nov. 28th, by Rev. M. Forbes, Mr. Calvin Bement to Miss Almira Auchempaugh of the former place.

In Farmington, Nov. 21, by the Rev. George Bridge, Mr. Hinckley Fay and Miss Mary E. Lapham, both of Farmington.

In Seneca Falls, on the 8th Nov., by F. W. Henry, Esq., Mr. Jasper Keeler of Canandaigua to Miss Lydia Slocum of Seneca Falls.

DIED - In Phelps, on the 21st Nov. ult., of a lingering typhoid fever, Polly, wife of John Salisbury, in the sixty-sixth of her age.

At Allen's Hill, Nov. 24th, of consumption, Harriet Eliza, wife of Edgar Munson, of Bradford, Steuben county, and daughter of Jonathan and Abigal B. Tallmadge of the former place, aged 27 years.

In Canandaigua, on the 25th ult., in the 45th year of his age, Mr. Patrick O'Connor, brother of the Pastor of St. Mary's Church, Canandaigua.

In Hopewell, Nov. 27th of consumption, Stephen W. Miles, in the 20th year of his age.



11 December 1850

DIED - In Hopewell, on the 7th of Dec., of consumption, Rachel Gregory, youngest daughter of Rev. H. Gregory, in the 14th year of her age.

In Hopewell, Nov. 25th, Abbey Jane Cary, aged 27 years and 2 months.

In South Bristol, on the 27th Nov., 1850, Elam Crane, aged 84 years.
