LOOKUPS

Following is a list of Ontario County references and volunteers who have kindly offered to do lookups in Ontario County resources.

Some guidelines and tips:

1.  Please limit your mail to one or two SURNAMES per request.

2.  In Subject line type ONTARIO COUNTY LOOKUP.

3.  Give name of resource to be searched.

4.  For a better response, give as much information as possible but also keep it brief. Because of copyright issues, volunteers may be limited in how much they can share from the resource.
Please email me if you have access to Ontario County historical and/or genealogical material and are willing to
do look-ups.

I have an electronic file of vintage photos that were scanned and photographed in order to sell the albums in which they were stored.  Although the albums originated in Ontario County, some of the names were identified as being from other areas of NY state as well as other states.  All do have a link to families in the upstate area.

I was raised in Naples and have strong ties to the area.  I recognize many of the surnames, but none are of my direct family tree.  I would be happy to share the photos if anyone asks.  Most of the photos are identified and have first and last names on them.  Looks like someone, who was very elderly, took the trouble to identify as many photos as she could.
