inst., by Rev. J. Alabaster, Mr. James H. Jones, of Jackson,
Mich., to Miss Phila A., daughter of Charles Warner, Esq.,
of Canandaigua.
DIED - In this village, on the 20th of December, 1867, Mrs.
Ann J. Anderson, widow of the late William Anderson, age 76 years.

DIED - In Gorham, January 19th, Mary T. Smith, of
paralysis, consort of Nathaniel Smith, after an attack of five days;
aged 72 years.

Geneva, Wednesday, January 29th, by the Rev. Samuel J. Rogers, Mr.
Michael S. Borall of Torrey, Yates co., to Miss Maria Jane
Osborne, adopted daughter of Wm. DeGraff, Esq., of Gorham.
DIED - At
her residence in Canandaigua, January 26th, in the fifty-first year of
her age, Isabella Maria Stuart Menteath, widow of Capt. Thomas
L. Stuart Menteath. And thus have her children lost a devoted mother,
her relatives, an ornament, the poor a friend.

Howard, relict of the late Henry Howard.

recently of paralysis.

Gilbert Skinner, wife of Mr. James Howard, and mother of
Clinton Rice, Esq., of Washington, D. C., and Hon. Geo. C. Rice of
Milford, Del., aged 61 years.

beloved wife of Wm. King, Sen., aged 79 years, and mother
of Wm. King, Jr., of Buffalo.
At Hopewell, Thursday, May 7th, of dropsy on the brain, Inez R., only
daughter of Hiram and Lucy N. Depue, aged 10 years and 9
months.

At her residence in Naples, on the 11th inst., of apoplexy, Mrs.
Jane Maxfield, widow of Michael Maxfield, and mother of Hiram
Maxfield and Mrs. E. B. Pottle. Her age was 73 years.

Fairchild, editor of the Ovid Bee, aged 19 years, 7 months and
15 days.

inst., John Pratt, an old and highly respected citizen of that
town.

DIED - In Geneva, on the 16th inst., Anthony H. Bradt, aged
85 years. Mr. Bradt was the father of Mr. John G. Bradt at this village
and one of the oldest residents of Geneva.
Recently at the residence of his son, in the town of Atifalcus, county
of Decatur, State of Georgia, Thomas Waugh, son of the late
Peter Waugh, aged about 50 years; formerly and for many years a
resident
of the town of Gorham in this county. His native place was near
Killeybags in Ulster county, Donegal Ireland.

DIED - In this village, on Tuesday, November 24th, Sarah
A., wife of Charles W. Hoffman, Esq., and only daughter
of Mark A. and Jemima Squier, formerly of Seneca Falls.
On Tuesday morning, Dec. 1st, Wm. McGinnis, Jr., son of Wm.
McGinnis, aged 18 years, 10 months.

of typhoid fever,
James Draper, elder son of George W. and Catherine P. Bemis,
in the 16th year of his age.
In this village, on the 15th inst., of typhoid fever, Austin
Steward, aged 76 years.

Canandaigua, on Thursday, the 25th of February, ult., by the Rev. F. B.
Allen, Hon. Samuel D. Backus, of Poughkeepsie, N. Y., to Zilpha
A. Clark, daughter of ex-Governor Myron H. Clark.
DIED - In this town, Feb. 8th, Ella, daughter of
Charles and Mary Warner, aged 32 years. She occupies the same
grave with her twin sister, Julia, who died July 11th, 1866.
In this village, on the 27th inst., Mathias Latz, aged 71
years, 4 months. Mr. Latz was one of the oldest German settlers in this
village having settled here in 1848.

DIED - In Canandaigua, Tuesday, March 2d, Climera, daughter
of Josiah and Unice Sutherland, aged 53 years and 21 days.

DIED - In Rockford, Ill., March 10th, of consumption, Wm.
D. Gregory, aged 50 years, formerly a resident of Hopewell,
Ontario county, N. Y.
On Tuesday morning, 23d inst., Henriettie Welles, daughter of
the late Theodore H. Hale, aged 16 years.

4th, Eldad Clark, aged 87 years.
