MARRIED - In Canandaigua, on the evening of the 12th
inst., by the Rev. Mr. Thompson, Mr. Samuel Fennow of Tyrone,
Steuben Co., to Miss Ann Eliza Bunnell, of the former place.
DIED - Suddenly, on Monday evening, 12th inst., Edward
Hyde, infant son of Jacob Lansing Woodruff, aged 2 months.
In No. 9, on the 9th inst., after a short illness, Marshall C., infant
son of Cornelius J. Rose.

MARRIED - In this town, last Thursday, by the Rev. Mr.
Castleton, Mr. Henry Mattison of Walworth, Wayne Co., to Miss
Ruth Tiffany of the former place.
In Hopewell, on Thursday evening last, by the Rev. Mr. Thompson of
Canandaigua, Mr. Robert Warner of Farmington, Mich., to Miss
Caroline A. Murray of the former place.
In Hopewell, on Thursday last Mr. Alfred Harris,
to Miss Electa Jane Childs, both of that town.
In Trinity Church, Centrefield, on the 11th inst. by Elder Birch. Mr.
Geo. T. Willson of Warren Co., Pa., to Miss Elizabeth
Muler, of Canandaigua.
In No. 9, on the evening of the 20th inst., by Elder Sanford, Mr.
Gideon E. Ferre to Miss Emeline Stid, all of Canandaigua.
DIED - On Monday morning, at the residence of his
brother-in-law, Col. William Blossom, in this village, Mr. Ebenezer
Morse, aged 52, after years of indisposition often very severe and
painful.

MARRIED - In Canadice on the 27th inst., by Rev. S. Doolittle
of Livonia, Mr. Peter Hoppough, Jr., Esq., to Miss Mary
Eggleston, both of Canadice.
DIED - At Canandaigua on the 21st ult., Julia, youngest
child of Luke and Catharine R. Lincoln, aged 19 months and 7
days.
In West Bloomfield, on the 4th inst., Mrs. Phebe Hall, widow
of the late Gen. Amos Hall, aged 70 years.

DIED - In Canandaigua, on the 7th inst., Jared Phelps, aged
34.

MARRIED - In Canandaigua, on the 17th instant, by the Rev.
Thos. Castleton, Mr. William Tozer to Miss Mary Ann Doyle,
all of the former place.
DIED - In this village, last Sunday afternoon, Miss Emily
A. Blossom, daughter of Col. William Blossom, aged 20.
In Centrefield, June 3d, Olive, wife of Peter Horning, aged
32.

MARRIED - At Rushville, on the 16th instant, by the Rev. Mr.
Gelston, George S. Ellas of Bath, Steuben Co., to Miss
Amanda D. Loomis, only daughter of Hon. Chester Loomis, of the
former place.
DIED - In Canandaigua, on the 26th inst., of a lingering
illness which he bore with true christian fortitude, Mr. Daniel
Hotchkiss, aged 74 - formerly of this town, but recently of
Michigan.

DIED - In this village, on the 25th inst., Asa Nowlen, son
of Samuel and Ann S. Greenleaf, aged three months.
4 August 1841
DIED - In Bristol, on the 24th July, after a short and painful
illness, Adoniram J. Hicks, son of Lemuel Hicks, aged 17 years
and ten months.
In this village on Monday, Miss Elizabeth Bradbury, in the
27th year of her age.
11 August 1841
DIED - On the 1st instant, Caroline, daughter
of Robert Higham, Esq., aged one year and 6 months.
On the 4th instant, William Kibbe, Esq., aged 74 years.
2 September 1841
MARRIED - In South Bristol on the 16th ult., by the Rev. Mr.
Smith, Mr. Colt and Miss Eliza Cushion.
DIED - In Bristol, on the 28th of August, Elnathan
Gooding, Esq., in the 70th year of his age. Mr. Gooding was the
first white man that wintered in the town of Bristol, fifty-two years
ago. His wife has been bereft of a kind and affectionate husband,
his children of a tender and indulgent parent, and society of one of
its
most worthy and useful members.
