The First Grange in Ontario -
At a meeting of Farmers of the South part of Canandaigua and South Bristol, held at the Academy school house, Jan. 19th, a Grange of the Patrons of Husbandry was organized by George Sprague, of Lockport, Secretary of the State Grange, and christened Academy Grange.  The following officers were duly elected and installed:

East Bloomfield Grange -
We have at length received the names of the officers of the Grange of the Patrons of Husbandry which was organized at East Bloomfield on the 18th of February last.  They are as follows:

These are among the best citizens of the town, and the Grange will therefore be one of great influence and commanding position. We understand there were about forty applications for membership at the second meeting of the Grange.

Geneva, April 7th, 1874 - The farmers in this fogy old town have at last been awakened to the importance of the Grange movement.  Guy Shaw, Deputy for this District, organized a Grange at the White Schoolhouse, on the Preemption road this afternoon, at which twenty-four members were initiated into the Order.
