HUGH FULTON
Surrogate Court record

Died 22 June 1846 in Seneca NY with no widow; his heirs were
listed as:

  Samuel A. Fulton Executor
  James S. Fulton of Seneca
  Joseph H. Fulton of Seneca
  Margaret Prentiss and John Prentiss of Peru, Huron County,
Ohio

He left $669.25 in property including bonds of $150.00 each to
James S. and Joseph H. Included is a listing of his property.
Thomas Ottley and Oliver Childs were the appraisers and
George R. Parburt, Surrogate of the Court.



Joseph Fulton
Surrogate Court record

Died June 1862 of Phelps NY leaving an estate of about
$90,000.00 with no children, father, mother, brother or sisters.
His will is contested by his nephew Jos N. Fulton and others.
George Hubbell is appointed executor. Isabella, his wife, applies
for $25,000.00 payment or at least $15,000.00 or to assign
her property to that amount from the estate. Isabella declines
the position of executor.

Surrogate Court record

Died 18 June 1863 in Phelps NY; wife of Joseph Fulton, both of
Phelps. Executor appointed to George Hubbell of Phelps, NY. Next
of kin were listed as:

 Joseph H. Fulton of Waterloo, Seneca County, NY
 James S. Fulton of Seneca, Ontario County, NY
 Samuel A. Fulton of the state of Ohio; place unknown.
 Rebecca Warden of Bath, Steuben County, NY
 Eliza Black widow of Geramiah Black of Bath, Steuben County NY

She left an estate of $35,000.00. Notice of the probate was
published in the Albany Evening Star, the state paper, once a
week for six weeks commencing on the 17th of July 1863.



James P. Fulton
Will dated 2 Jan 1917 and Surrogate Court record

Died 19 February 1919 in Stanley, Ontario County, NY. He lists
his heirs as:

Sarah M. Fulton, his wife, of Stanley NY; he gives his house
and barn and a ½ acre lot in Stanley, NY.
Mrs. Maude F. Thompson, his daughter and the Executrix, of
Stanley, NY; he gives all of the remainder of his property.

His personal property was valued at $1,000.00 and his real
property at $3,500.00.  The Notary Public was A. C. Rippey.



James S. Fulton
Will  dated 15 Feb 1877 and Surrogate Court Records.

Died 6 may 1887 of Seneca, Ontario County, NY.  He lists his heirs
as:

Margaret Ann Fulton, his widow;  $4,000.00 and all of his property. Named as executrix
James Prestley Fulton, his son, of Stanley NY; $2,000.00; named as executor with Margaret.
Anna M. Van Vleet, his daughter of Stanford CT and wife of Dr. Peter P. Van Vleet; $1,000.00
Caroline C. Robinson his daughter of Corning NY and wife of Orlando J. Robinson; $1,000.00;
John M. Fulton, his son of St. Louis MO; $100.00

He left an estate of $12,000.00; William J. Robinson was Notary Public.



Margaret Ann Fulton
Will dated 15 Feb 1877 and Surrogate Court Records.

 Died 2 Jan 1892 of and in Seneca, NY.  She lists her heirs as:

 John M. Fulton of St. Louis MO.  Named as executor.
 James P. Fulton of Stanley NY.  Named as executor.
 Carrie C. Robinson of Corning NY
 Anna M. Van Vleet of Stanford CT.
 Adda M. Robinson of Corning NY
 Carrie May Robinson of Corning NY
 Hugh Fulton of Oswego NY

 She left an estate of $8,000.00



Lucy E. Fulton
Will and Surrogate Court Records.

 Died 15 Aug 1923 of and in Phelps, NY.  She lists her heirs as:

 William O. Fulton, husband, of Phelps NY
 Teresa M. Gallaher, sister, of Rochester NY
 Susan A. Gallaher, sister, of Akron Ohio
 Frances Campbell, sister, of Buffalo NY
 William E. Gallaher, brother, of Buffalo NY
 Kathryn Gallaher, sister, of Rochester NY
 James Gallaher, brother, of Buffalo, NY

She left no child or parent and did not name an executor.  The
value of her estate is $225.00.  Her husband made no disposition
of her property.  She was the owner of a house and lot on the
north side of Tillotson Street, Canandaiqua NY, assessed for
$2,200.00 with a mortgage held by Charles R. Simmons for the
amount of $1,000.00 for a total value of her property as
$1,425.00.
