The "Grandfather Crandall" referred to is George Martin Crandall, born NY - somewhere - in 1816.

Margaret Crandall is hoping to find the ancestry of four Crandall siblings from NY - George Martin, William Almus, Marinda, and Phebe, who settled in OH (later IN) - and would be happy to find they are from Ontario County NY.
